On Saturday, Jan. 22, Navalcán Equine Association paid a tribute to the horse WHISKY, most of you do not sound this name, but this little horse is very well known in towns like Candeleda , Oropesa , Evening , Grills or Navalcán .
In April this year be forty years and as stated previously this beautiful animal is fifth mine is not documented but it is very likely to be the oldest horse in Spain and one of the oldest in the world.
The year was 1971 when its owner Recio Jesus went through the market Talavera de la Reina looking for a pleasure horse for the family when he was about to return to Navalcán empty handed was set at a small colt isabela pearl, his destination was a slaughterhouse, a lucky break him out of certain death, he was named WHISKY by the color so special that I had and headed for a new, long-lived life.
