Geophysics (Geophysics)
science that deals with research indirect subsurface structure using even chemical and physical properties of rocks by special methods and equipment, based on the principle that in every place of observation all parts of the ground, in proportion in the distance, express and show its presence through its physical properties. The geophysical methods are designed to locate favorable geological structures for the existence of deposits of commercial value. In oil exploration geophysicist most widely used method is to seismology.
